Organizational Structure and Purpose of the Position Local Chapter Presidents serve under the direction of and work closely with State Coordinators and Regional Directors. Their primary responsibility is to lead their chapters in upholding and promoting the mission and purpose of Mocha Moms, Inc. The SPGC Mocha Mom Chapter President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and other officers are elected by members of their chapters in accordance with chapter bylaws.

Hello,

My name is Cherita Claitt and I am the Co-President for the Southern Prince George's County Chapter of Mocha Mom, Inc. I've been a Mocha Mom for 3 years. I live in Clinton, MD with my husband and two children- Lawrence (3) and Elise (1). I joined Mocha Moms because I knew I needed to build my "Mom Tribe". By participating in chapter events and a national MM conference over the last few years, I was able to meet some awesome women. I was looking to connect with a like minded group of mothers that can give me advice and support in this new journey called motherhood. Mocha Moms is for mothers of all ages, races, backgrounds, etc. feel free to come out & see if SPGC Mocha Moms is for you!

Hello, My name is Mocha Monique Canada & I am the Secretary for the SPGC Chapter of Mocha Moms. I’ve been a Mocha a year and a half. I’m a dual member between the SPGC and Alexandria chapters. I live in Fort Washington with my husband and my son Dawson (6). I enjoy being a Mocha but believe it is what you make of it.

My name is Mocha Christiana Wilson & I am the Treasurer for the Southern Prince George's County Chapter of Mocha Moms, Inc. I've been a Mocha since 2016, just before my son turned two. He's now 5 and it's been a wonderful journey learning about and sharing his growth with like-minded women. The empathy and compassion I've experienced as a Mocha have at times moved me to tears. I believe in the organization and the Southern Prince George's County chapter, and despite personal emotional challenges and setbacks have stepped in and up as Co-President in 2019, President in 2020, and now Treasurer. I joined Mocha Moms for the sisterhood and remain impressed by my Mochas.
